SECTIONS AND NOMINATIONS

AUTUMN — "Crimson and gold"

BLOCK 1. THE WORLD AROUND YOU

Nature and its elements: earth, water, architecture as part of the landscape, living creatures.

1. Natural landscapes
Open spaces: field, forest, steppe, hills, horizon. The main character is the earth itself in its seasonal state.

2. Water landscapes
Water as an actor: river, lake, pond, flood, ice hole, fog over water, reflections.

3. Architectural landscapes
Russian silhouette: temples, huts, towers, bridges, mills, bell towers — architecture that fits into the season.

4. Birds and quadrupeds
Animals and birds in the context of the Russian season: moose in the winter forest, rooks in the thawed areas, horse at the watering hole, chickens in the autumn yard.

WINTER is a "Crystal fairy tale"

LOCK 2. MAN AND HIS LIFE

A person in all its forms: from an instant sketch to a portrait, family, everyday life and connection with the universe.

5. In one breath (plein-air work)
A lively sketch painted outdoors, with recognizable seasonal lighting and a sense of "here and now".

6. Faces, faces and portraits
The man in the center: look, character, psychology, age, costume. A portrait where the face speaks about the time of the year and the place.

7. Family values (family connection)
Warmth and continuity in scenes with relatives: mother and child, grandfather and grandson, wedding, family meal — at least two generations or spouses.

8. Life (the beauty of everyday life)
A simple life without the obligatory family connection: a morning snack, a fisherman on the ice, an old woman at the stove, a fair, a carpenter at a workbench.

9. The measure of heaven and earth (man and the universe)
Man is face to face with infinity: a ploughman under a vast sky, a pilgrim at a temple, a man at a winter window. A conversation between man and the world.

SPRING is a "Great drop"

BLOCK 3. MEANINGS, OBJECTS, FORMS

The inner content of art: subjects, symbols, the objective world, the spiritual, ornament, abstraction, monochrome.

10. A tale in colors (thematic painting / storytelling)
A story in one frame: a holiday, a send—off, a meeting, an epic - a scene with a clear plot, beginning, action and mood.

11. Signs, images and symbolism
Cultural codes of the season: bird, candle, apple, birch, ear, rowan, willow, egg — that becomes a sign of the season and attitude.

12. Still life of the season
The objective world of the season in composition: pumpkins and mushrooms in autumn, candles and felt boots in winter, willow and eggs in spring, berries and flowers in summer.

13. Sacred and light (temple art)
The spiritual dimension of the season: images of saints, temple paintings, icon motifs, angelic faces, candlelight, the feast of the Annunciation or Easter.

14. Rhythms and ornaments
A composition based on repetition, pattern, or ornamental grid is like embroidery, tile, gingerbread board, or a natural rhythm (ripples of water, cracks in ice, branches).

15. The abstract view
Avoiding recognizable forms: a season through color, spot, gesture, texture, brush movement, without reference to an object or ornament.

16. Monochrome Russia
Only black, white, and shades of gray: ink, charcoal, pencil, grisaille, b/W photography — season through rhythm and texture, not color.

SUMMER is a "Riot of Nature"

BLOCK 4. END-TO-END DESIGN

Going beyond one season.

17. Four faces of the same earth
A diptych, triptych, or quadriptych where the same motif (tree, corner of the manor, bell tower, and shore) is shown in all four seasons.
